ATHMANDU, FEB 28 - Senior UCPN (Maoist) leader Baburam Bhattarai has lashed out at Nepali Congress and CPN-UML calling the ruling parties as ‘colour blind’. Hinting towards the refusal of the ruling parties to adopt single-identity based federalism, Bhattarai said that the ruling parties could recognise only a single colour in a multi-coloured country.
“Some parties are suffering from colour blindness. They recognise only a single colour in a colourful country,” said Bhattarai addressing the mass assembly organised by the opposition parties at Khulamanch today.
Bhattarai also suggested the ruling parties get proper treatment for their colour blindness.
Bhattarai said that the Constituent Assembly was seized after the ruling parties decided to follow the CA procedures and added that such seizure could be ended only through demonstration.
